What is coaching?
The ICF (International Coaching Federation) defines coaching as a partnership with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
This definition accurately describes the essence of professional coaching, but it is not always clear to the layman. Metaphorically speaking: coaching is a journey/path to your goals. I resonated with the metaphor of my teacher: a coach is not a guide on this path but a professional companion. A companion who walks with a flashlight behind the client, while the client chooses the path, and only they determine where to go.
Who is a coach and how is it different from a psychologist and a mentor?
A coach is a professional who accompanies a client from point A to point B in the shortest possible time using coaching tools and working with the mindset. A coach does not give advice, but uses coaching techniques and powerful questions to help unlock the client's potential, which enables clients to make important decisions on their own.
The main direction of a coach's work is the present and future. During coaching, clients find answers within themselves, for who, except you, knows how best to act in a given situation? All the answers are indeed already inside you, you just need to ask the right question.
A psychologist, in turn, focuses on working with the present through the prism of past experience, helping to work through and understand past traumas and events. However, it is worth remembering that not all problems can be solved with coaching. In some cases, psychological help may be more effective.
A mentor is a specialist who passes on their personal experience in a certain field, offering advice and recommendations. They provide specific instructions based on their experience and knowledge, whereas a coach helps you find your own solutions.
If you are unsure which specialist to contact with your request, we can clarify this at the introductory meeting.
How to choose a coach?
If this is your first experience with a coach, I recommend meeting with at least 2-3 coaches for introductory meetings to choose your coach with whom you will be most comfortable embarking on this new experience for you. All coaches are different, each has their own style and approach to work.
You should choose a coach whom you trust, with whom you feel safe and are ready to open up to.
What else to pay attention to when choosing a coach:
The choice is always yours. Your coach is your partner in achieving the goal, and it's important that you feel comfortable with them.
Who is coaching definitely not suitable for?
What are the guarantees of results?
Answering this question, let's return to the metaphor about coaching (see the answer to the question "What is coaching"):
"Metaphorically speaking: coaching is a journey/path to your goals. I resonated with the metaphor of my teacher: a coach is not a guide on this path but a professional companion. A companion who walks with a flashlight behind the client, while the client chooses the path, and only they determine where to go.”
The coach is a companion who provides tools, resources, and support, but the final steps and decisions are made by the Client themselves.
So, can I, as a coach, guarantee results? Briefly and honestly - no.
Because your success depends on your actions, your readiness for change, your involvement in the process. My task is to help you see opportunities and directions, give you the courage to move forward, but in the end, it is you who control your path and your achievements.

🔹 MAC: Metaphorical Associative Cards
🔹 Deep subconscious work
🔹 Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
What are Metaphorical Cards?
Metaphorical Association Cards (MAC) are a psychological tool comprising a collection of images with various scenes and figures, interpreted subjectively by each individual based on their own experiences. This means they don't have a precise interpretation but instead mirror what's in our subconscious, making them a powerful medium for deep psychological analysis and self-discovery.
How does the work with the cards proceed?
During a session with MAC cards, the abstract and ambiguous imagery on the cards helps individuals view their challenges and situations from a completely new angle. It allows them to peer into their subconscious, stepping beyond everyday perceptions, and uncover new, previously hidden avenues for addressing their issues.
In sessions, I combine psychology, coaching, and MAC cards, facilitating work at a deep level. Clients find the answers and solutions that truly resonate with them and move towards implementation, rather than just remaining thoughts.
